About the School

A secondary school located in Twickenham is currently seeking Learning Support Assistant available to work on a full time starting as soon as possible.

The successful candidate is expected to have around 6 months SEN experience and eager to help young people. There are several roles available in this specific school, from working on a 1:1 basis to working in a class with small groups.

The school has a friendly and community atmosphere with Learning Support Assistants and the SEN department providing any support necessary. Staff at the school are willing to go the extra mile and they are looking for committed candidates who can be relied upon.

About the role

Learning Support Assistant

Experience working with SEN students would be welcome

It would be a full-time role working 5 days a week, 8:30am - 3:30pm

This role would be a long term role with

Would be expected to work in the SEN department, working on a 1:1 basis, in small groups and assisting in the classroom

Location

The school is a 8 minute walk from Twickenham station, located in Twickenham.

Requirements - Please do not apply if you do not meet the below requirements

A behaviour mentor would need some experience working with SEN children

The ideal candidate will have a degree (BA, BSc etc.)

A friendly and committed teaching assistant is required with a dedication towards their students

Good behaviour management would be ideal
