If so, please see the details of the Learning Support Assistant position available at our client secondary school located in Bournemouth.

Due to a restructure within the support department, the school wish to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to work directly with identified pupils across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four. This position will commence with immediate effect on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year (2018/2019) initially. The successful Learning Support Assistant will also have the opportunity to gain a permanent position in the new academic year (2019) dependent upon initial successes and funding.

  • Full-time Learning Support Assistant required, immediate start.
  • Competitive weekly rates of pay, earn up to £1200 per month.
  • Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to support learning.
  • Opportunities to cover lessons in the absence of the class teacher with pre-set work and full support.
  • Reporting back to the SENCO on pupil progress on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Implementing positive behaviour management strategies during position.
The incoming Learning Support Assistant will work with a number of SEN students at school therefor any previous experience in social work, youth work or any other experience with mild Autism, Aspergers, ADHD, Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs is ideal.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
