Learning Support Assistant - SEN - Immediate Start

Job description

Would you like to join a highly inclusive, expanding primary school in Bristol? Do you have a passion for supporting children with special educational needs? We are looking for experienced general Learning Support Assistants to provide support for children with special educational needs.

You will:

- Have experience of working with SEN children

- Have a variety of intervention strategies;

- Have a kind and caring manner with children and an inclusive ethos;

- Be flexible, adaptable and willing to take initiative;

- Enjoy working as part of a team;

- Have experience of supporting children achieving speech, language, PHSE, learning and/or behavioural targets;

- Have a commitment to supporting children to achieve independence;

- Be willing to implement embedded strategies which support behavioural, social and emotional development

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
