Learning Support Assistant – Trafford, Manchester
Location: Trafford, Greater Manchester
Pay: £89.33 – £95 per day (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time or part-time
Start Date: ASAP

Are you someone who loves working with children and wants to make a real difference in their day-to-day learning?

We’re on the lookout for a caring, enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming school in Trafford. Whether you’ve worked in a classroom before or have experience supporting young people in other settings, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting students one-to-one or in small groups, especially those who need a bit of extra help
  • Helping the teacher in class and making sure every pupil feels included and supported
  • Encouraging children to stay focused and feel confident in their learning
  • Being a friendly, reliable presence for students who may find school a bit tricky sometimes

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys working with children and young people
  • Is patient, positive, and ready to get stuck in
  • Can build good relationships with students and staff
  • Has some experience with special educational needs (like autism, ADHD, or speech and language needs) – but full training can be given

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
