Teaching Personnel is actively recruiting dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistants for an SEN schools in Burgess Hill, catering to students with autism, SLD, PMLD, mobility needs, and more.
Position: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Burgess Hill, West Sussex
Hours: Full-time and Part-time positions available
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students across a range of subjects and activities. Your commitment and enthusiasm will contribute to creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students with diverse needs
- Assist in various subjects and extracurricular activities
- Foster a positive and supportive learning atmosphere
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff
Requirements:
- Genuine passion for working with young people with special educational needs
- Patience, empathy, and adaptability
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant experience or qualifications (desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
