Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA)?

Are you seeking work within the Selby area?

Do you have experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs/ Teaching Assistant experience?

If so, a Primary school in Selby are seeking a Learning Support Assistant (LSA). Your role will vary depending on the individual needs of the pupils. You may be required to work 1:1 or in small groups. The additional needs of the pupils vary, but will include: Autism, ADHD, Moderate/Severe/Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, Social Emotional Mental Health Difficulties or Physical Disabilities.

As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) it is therefore essential that you have:

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade C (or equivalent)
  • Experience working within the education sector and/or experience supporting special educational needs
  • At least 3 days availability a week
  • An Enhanced Child Only DBS registered with the Update Service (can apply during application)
  • Ability to provide at least two references from your last six years of employment
