Job description

If so, a SEN school in Lincoln are seeking an experienced learning support assistant (LSA) to assist one of their SEN classes. You will be responsible for overseeing and helping a class with 6 - 10 pupils within it. Each child has Autism and may have another additional need. You may be required to support one of the pupils on a 1:1 basis depending on the requirements of the class. There are excellent facilities within the school such as a fully equipped gymnasium and sensory rooms.

As a learning support assistant you will be required to have:

  • Experience working with special educational needs and/or have experience working within a care setting
  • English and Maths GCSE C grade (or equivalent)
  • An Enhanced Child Only DBS registered with the Update Service (can apply during application)

Location: Lincoln

Start Date: 5th November 2018

Hourly Rate: £9 - £12 per hour

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
