Learning Support Assistant, Kensington

Temporary Contract (with the option for permanent after 20 weeks)

The Role:

  • 1:1 support for an autistic child in a mainstream school (GCSEs, A-Level and BTEC)
  • Planning and preparation required
  • Providing additional help in Maths, Englihs and Science

The School Information:

  • 23 Autistic pupils in provision
  • Staff work 1:1
  • Keyworker works 1:1 with students and liaises with the families
  • Speech and language therapist in twice a week
  • Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm

Ideal Candidate:

  • Recent Graduate
  • Academic record
  • Strong behaviour management
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
