Learning Support Assistant

Job description

Due to an increased demand, we are currently working alongside schools in the local borough who are looking to employ learning support assistants to help learners with special educational needs overcome their barriers to learning, this may be about improving behaviour or helping them to achieve their academic goals. 

Candidates will ideally have experience working with the below:

  • ASD
  • PMLD
  • Complex needs
  • Learning Difficulties
  • SEMH

Due to the nature of the roles, it is essential that candidates who apply must be dedicated, inspiring and engaging. Confident and able to work across all age groups.

Candidates will be responsible to Monitor pupils' development and committed to ensuring pupils make good sustained progress and encourage pupils to reach their full potential.
