Do you have experience supporting children with behaviour needs?

Are you looking for a rewarding role supporting children access the curriculum?

Teaching Personnel are working with a school in the Bournemouth area, catering for pupils who have been excluded from mainstream school. This includes pupils with SEMH (social and emotional needs) and Autism.

We are looking for an experienced member of support staff to support the pupils within the school. This would involve working within the classroom and supporting the teacher.

If you have experience as a youth worker, teaching assistant or sports coach then you are likely to have transferable skills that would make you excellent for this role.

To be successful in this role you should:

  • have experience working with children with behaviour needs
  • strong behaviour management
  • a sense of humour
  • confidence and resilience

We have both full and part time work available.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
