Due to an upcoming vacancy at our client school, Teaching Personnel are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join our client school in November 2019. The successful Learning Support Assistant will assist in the support and integration of children with Special Educational Needs within mainstream school. They will work both as part of a team and independently to support the aims of the department.

The ideal Learning Support Assistant will have previous experience working with young people with Special Educational Needs in an educational setting.  They will have a positive approach and will have the ability to motivate students, acting as a positive role model for individuals and groups of students.

Our client school is a large vibrant secondary school located in the heart of the city centre. The school is an inclusive multi-faith and multi-cultural learning environment with over 1000 pupils on roll. Due to the schools inner city location, the catchment area has a high number of disadvantaged pupils who require additional academic, pastoral and behaviour support. The school is located just a short drive from the city centre and is easily accessible by public transport links.
