SEMH Learning Support Assistant
Start: September 2021
Salary: GBP10.20 per hour
A Chelmsford based school are seeking an SEN learning support assistant to provide support for pupils with a range of special educational needs to commence in September 2021. Ideally the successful support assistant will have a minimum GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths. A University Degree is desirable but not essential.
As a successful SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Provide learning assistant support within a classroom
- Provide 1:1 and group intervention support
- Provide emotional literacy and emotional first aid support
- Communicate effectively and appropriately to pupils with different abilities
- Have experience of working with students with special educational needs such as Dyslexia, Autism

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
