Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking a Learning Support Assistant (TA) to work across a Special Educational Needs School in Louth. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and creative practitioner with a commitment to supporting the development of young people with learning difficulties within this Federation. The applicant should have energy for supporting positive behaviour, communication and complex needs and have a relevant qualification to support. Experience of working in special education is essential.

The purpose of these roles is to work with individual children having special or particular needs, in accordance with the child's EHCP where appropriate and / or groups of children as directed by the teacher. To provide support across a range of child centred activities to promote child development and learning.

This vacancy is advertised as a temporary post until Aug 2019, it will then be reviewed at the end of the academic year.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
