Learning Support Assistant

An inclusive and diverse 11-16 mainstream secondary school in the Bolton (BL4) area, are looking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to provide academic and practical support across Key Stage 3 & 4. This role will include working with pupils that require extra support with lesson engagement and support those with learning disabilities such as ADHD and Autism.

All children at this school are provided with opportunities to develop confidence, creativity, and self-esteem, regardless of needs, background or religion.

Job role:

• Full-time Learning Support Assistant
• September start – with the potential to become a permanent position
• Work 1:1 and in groups
• Monitor progress of students
• Work collaboratively with a team to best support the children
• Previous experience in a similar role is desired but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
