Job description

Full-time Learning Support Assistant required immediately within a large secondary school in North Manchester.

This post is initially being offered on a temporary basis until July 2021, with the view of securing a permanent role in the new academic year (Sept 2021).

**Previous experience working with young people aged 11-16 is essential for this position**

-          Full time position with an immediate start date available.

-          GBP65 per day, may increase dependent on responsibilities and experience.

-          Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis in class.

-          Covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher with pre set work.

-          Monitoring behaviour and promoting strategies to deal with this.

-          Working alongside the SENCO to raise attainment.

The large school has an on site Inclusion department to support the learning of students. Located in North Manchester, near to the Blackley area, the school can be accessed via the M60 motorway. Public transportation links from central Manchester and Oldham provide a direct route to the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
