Learning Support Assistant
Teaching Personnel are offering the successful candidate the chance to make a real difference in the lives of children with SEN. The position is a Learning Support Assistant in the Liverpool area. This would be working with children in a mainstream primary school aged 4-11yrs on a full time basis
The position is temporary but with the opportunity to become permanent. Pay would start at £10.20 per hour with working hours being from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Supportin children with special educational needs such as autism and ADHD
- Engaging students when distracted from their learning
- Assisting the execution of tailored lesson plans
- Reporting back on behaviour to promote best practice
- 1:1 work ensuring pupils stay on track with the curriculum
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience supporting wellbeing of children with SEN
- A calm and resilient personality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
