Learning Support Assistant

Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant for a position within a Sheffield school to start after Easter.

The ideal candidate would have prior experience in a primary classroom setting and have an enthusiastic, inspiring approach to children's learning. Responsibilities include assisting the class teacher in the delivery of engaging lessons, 1:1 intervention, working with small groups to enhance reading/writing skills and assisting with behaviour management.

Teaching Personnel are seeking:

  • A passionate, committed Learning Support Assistant
  • A Learning Support Assistant with experience in 1:1 intervention
  • A Learning Support Assistant with experience in both KS1 and KS2

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
