Do you want to become an SEN Learning Support Assistant?

We are currently looking for an organised, hard working individual who is interested in working as an SEN Teaching Assistant. Here at Teaching Personnel we offer great career opportunities within our friendly and supportive schools. You will be working 1:1 with children and young adults who require extra support through learning, whether this is mental, physical or emotional needs.

Grafham Grange School is an academy for boys. The school caters for students who have statements of special educational needs and Education, Health and Care plans with SEMH (social, emotional and mental health) as their primary identified need, though the majority of students have additional special educational needs such as autistic spectrum conditions, speech, language and communication difficulties, ADHD, opposition defiance, medical conditions and attachment disorders.

Here at Teaching Personnel we will be able to offer you a wide range of opportunities from long term work to short term, as well as helping you find work on a permanent basis. Our current teaching assistants work in a variety of roles in various schools around the area. We work closely with a range of SEN schools as well as pupil referral units and alternative provisions. All schools we work with are able to provide you with a friendly and supportive environment.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
