Classroom Support Assistant (Primary)

Location: Vale of Glamorgan

Pay Rate: £12.90ph

Start date: May 2024

Position: Flexible Monday to Friday

Ages: Foundation to Key stage 2 (Can vary depending on your preference)

Hours: Monday to Friday (8.30am – 3.30pm)

Have you considered working in education previously? Teaching Personnel are pleased to be recruiting for a Classroom Support Assistant, to start as soon as possible in a large, friendly Primary School located in the Vale area. We would love to hear from people who feel they are calm, patient, and adaptive as this will be essential for the role. This position will be perfect to help you gain experience in a classroom setting or to further enhance your skills.

What the position will include:

  • Work alongside the Teacher by helping children who require additional help with their work
  • Potentially working with children who have learning difficulties or those with SEN
  • Potential to be working 1:1 with a child who needs a higher level of support
  • A chance to refine skills or develop new ones with the support of a fantastic School and ourselves

The ideal candidate will be motivated, with a passion for helping others. If you feel that you have a kind, empathetic nature and you are innovative then the role of Classroom Support Assistant would be perfect for you. You do not need to have previous experience in a classroom setting, all you need is a willingness to help and dedication to succeed in this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
