SEN teaching assistant required at a Winchester based secondary SEN school for an immediate start.

Due to a gap within their support team, this is an excellent opportunity to gain full time employment at a wonderful school.

Within this role you will be required to work closely with small groups of pupils who require extra support due to severe learning difficulties.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be working with a range of young people with varying needs. Within this role you will be supporting pupils with SEN (Including SLD, SEMH, Autism).

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and inclusive team of support staff who are dedicated to ensuring all pupils have the best learning environment as well as building positive relationships with the young people where you will be providing support to pupils, assist the classroom teacher and offer general support within routines of the provision.

The successful Teaching assistant will be supporting young people with managing behaviours, teaching and supporting curriculum with direction from the class teacher and managing documentation and keeping files and information for the classroom organised.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
