Join the support department within an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school, providing additional guidance to pupils at lower levels of learning ability.
- Full-time Learning Support Assistant.
- Required to start in January 2021 or earlier on an ongoing basis.
- Providing in class support for identified pupils.
- Earn up to GBP1400 per month!
- Secondary school based in Salford.
The incoming Learning Support Assistant will be providing in class support on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to ensure all pupils have support when required. The class teacher will provide the incoming candidate with all resources needed and may occasionally be asked to support with interventions – all work will be pre-set.
Some pupils may have additional learning needs such as dyslexia or dyspraxia and can occasionally show signs of challenging behaviour as a result.
The incoming assistant should have previous experience supporting children and young people previously.
The school is based in Salford and has around 900 pupils on roll. The school can be accessed via the M62 and A580 from surrounding areas. For candidates without their own transport, the school can also be accessed via public transport links from neighbouring areas such as Prestwich, Swinton and Bolton.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
