Teaching Personnel are currently working on behalf of our client secondary school who is seeking a temporary Learning Support Assistant to join their support department on a full time basis. This position has an immediate start and will continue until the end of the academic year.

The incoming Learning Support Assistant will be working on a 1:1 basis with a student with ASC to assist with integrating them into everyday activities other pupils partake in. You will be responsible for delivering different learning activities to keep the pupil engaged in the classroom and to raise attainment; you will monitor the student's development and progression and provide feedback to the SENCO.

This large mixed 11-16 academy in Oldham is situated close to the M60 motorway and easily accessible from the surrounding areas; Manchester City Centre, Tameside and Rochdale. In recent years there has been a consistent incline in attainment and pupil's progress with the senior leadership team ensuring that there is a positive environment for learning. The incoming Learning Support Assistant will be joining a well established support department.
