Job description

A lovely Primary School located a short walk from Kilburn Park Station (Westminster) are looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join their staff in Reception!

The role will involve supporting a child in Year 3 with Autism-Spectrum Condition (ASC). The child has poor mobility and will require support during break and lunch times. He will also require support academically.

The school is a 1 form entry school with a wonderful family feel. The school are committed to providing a nurturing environment within which their children and staff can develop spiritually, socially and physically.

They have recently received a 'Good' status from Ofsted and are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is committed and determined to achieve the best for their School and their pupils.

The role will be a full-time position in their mixed Year 3 class. You will receive brilliant support from their lovely SLT and their friendly staff will make you feel at home.

Shortlisting criteria include:

  • Experience working with ASC and/or challenging behaviour
  • Willingness to be involved with extra-curricular activities
  • Passion for helping raise pupil attainment
