Learning Support Assistant - Behaviour Specialist

Have you ever supported or cared for a child with SEN?

A primary school based within the Redland is looking for outgoing and patient Learning Support Assistants to join their vibrant and forward thinking team and work as a Behaviour Buddy for pupils through out the school. The school is looking for members of staff that have had previous experience working with a variety of children including those with SEN.

The ideal candidate will have/be able to:

  • Plan and deliver individual and small group work
  • Ability to resolve behavioural issues positively
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and resilience
  • Deliver lessons to large groups whilst working alongside other LSA's
  • Portray a caring and nurturing manner at all times

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
