Learning Mentor/Teaching Assistant/Sports - Behaviour Support

Job description

Teaching Personnel is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in a school based in South Leicester. The role is full-time, and will be ongoing and possibly running into the new academic year in September.

The successful candidate will enjoy working on a personable basis with students, and is confident in building relationships. The student enjoys sports and outdoor activities, so someone from a sporting background would be ideal. This could be a sports degree, or from a sports coach background. Experience in schools is not essential, as it is more about the personality and the relationship that is built.

There is an element of challenging behaviour, so continuity and professionalism is essential, whilst also having a flexible and adaptable personality.

The role is to start as soon as possible, and at the very latest from April 29th. You will need a Child workforce DBS on the Update Service, which can be obtained through Teaching Personnel.

We are holding interviews all next week, and will be arranging meetings with the school from April 8th.

Please send your CV or call 0116 201 4500.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
