Behaviour and Learning Mentor - South Leeds (Morley/Beeston area) Primary School - Supporting Pupils 1:1 and in small groups

Do you hold a Core Subject degree, Psychology or Sports Science Degree and are aspiring to enter a career in education or have held previous experience within schools?

Do you have prior experience in working with children or vulnerable adults with behavioural needs?

Would you benefit from paid experience as a Behaviour and Learning Mentor in a School in one of Middleton's most vibrant Schools, with the ability to progress into teacher training?

This thriving South Leeds School are keen to recruit a talented graduate to support students as a Learning and Behaviour mentor, starting in September 2019, or earlier (ASAP) for the right person!

About the Role:

  • Competitive weekly pay
  • Supporting children with a range of needs such as ASC, MLD, GDD and SEMH
  • Working on a 1:1 basis, creating and establishing relationships and in small groups with pupils - offering interventions
  • Previous experience working with vulnerable children or adults in any capacity is ideal, however not essential
