Job description

A Ofsted 'OUTSTNDING' Secondary Pupil Referral Unit in Bolton that are seeking Learning Mentors who have experience of supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health.

The school cater for pupils aged 11 to 16 and the day is split into two halves. In the morning's core subjects are taught, then throughout the afternoon activities take part to keep the pupils engaged. The school requires a youth worker who is able to go and work closely with senior teachers in a small based classroom with pupils who have educational barriers. The role requires you to provide a safe and secure environment so that each pupil can reach their full potential. The school caters for pupils who have ADHD and behavioural difficulties.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
