Job description

Teaching personnel are currently recruiting numerous Learning Mentors to work in our client schools across Greater Manchester, starting immediately.

If you are a graduate looking to gain further experience ahead of a teacher training course, or teacher looking to take a step back from responsibilities, teaching personnel would like to hear from you.

  • Full time Learning Mentor roles - Across Greater Manchester.
  • Immediate start, initially on a temporary supply basis with the potential to progress on to a fixed long term contract.
  • Flexibility to support pupils at various learning levels and across a wide range of subject curriculum's.
  • Earning up to £1200 per month, dependant upon experience*.

Candidates are required to be educated to, or in the process of completing a Degree - some prior experience within an education setting is essential.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

  • Work 1:1, in small intervention groups and alongside the class teacher to support teaching and learning.
  • Record and report - behaviour and implementing classroom behaviour policies.
  • Tracking progress and feeding back to Senior Leaders (SENCO).

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
