About Our People

We live our values and strive to be the best we can be – and our culture of learning and continuous improvement is at the very heart of this. Our teams see learning as current, relevant, flexible and meaningful, and are able to see the direct link between learning and their own success.

About The Role

Reporting to the Group L&D Director, the L&D Partner is a brand ambassador who will play a key role in supporting individuals, managers and businesses within our Group to advance their skills, knowledge and mindset, and in driving organisational growth and success through our people.

  • Create and deliver learning and development programmes, experiences and resources that people will love;
  • Give our managers the resources and skills they need to help their teams get the most out of learning
  • Show people how learning helps them to be successful and links to individual aspirations such as career advancement;
  • Teach people how to think as well as what to do.

Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating individual and business development needs;
  • Designing learning interventions, from scoping the need to creating the content and materials needed. These will include various learning methods (e.g. blended learning programs, face-to-face, coaching, job-shadowing, online training, digital resources, toolboxes for managers);
  • Assessing the success of development plans and helping employees and businesses make the most of learning opportunities;
  • Helping managers to develop their teams through coaching skills and skills-gap analysis;
  • Creating and maintaining clear project plans.

About You

  • You will have proven experience working as an L&D manager, business partner or similar, preferably within a recruitment or sales environment;
  • You’ll be energetic, innovative and passionate about helping people learn and grow;
  • You will have a strong understanding of the development cycle and be confident in designing creative interventions and memorable and engaging learning experiences that enable people to practice, collaborate and share ideas;
  • You’ll be charismatic and engaging and able to confidently deliver training sessions;
  • You will work well with change, being able to quickly adapt, prioritise and work with pace;
  • You’ll have strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships with ease;
  • A professional learning and development certification would be advantageous.

About Your Rewards

In return for your efforts we offer a great package consisting of:

  • A competitive annual salary;
  • 25 days holiday + UK bank holidays, increasing with service;
  • Online rewards portal offering discounts and offers at major retailers;
  • Free mobile phone insurance, coffee and monthly cinema tickets through our reward portal;
