LE3 Year 5 Class Teacher

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a year 5 class teacher to join a friendly, successful and exciting school based within the LE3 area.

The job role will involve:

• Create a stimulating and challenging learning environment
• Teach the full primary curriculum to the class for which the teacher is responsible
• Implement school schemes, policies and guidelines
• Work within the policies of our school, including the Health and Safety Policy
• Match learning tasks to the age, ability and aptitude of each child
• Assess, record, monitor and report progress attainment of pupils
• Mark and assess pupil's work in line with our Marking and Assessment Policies
• Submit Planning and Assessment Folders for termly monitoring
• Use resources including the environment to aid teaching programme

The ideal Teacher will have:

• A Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form.
• The ability to meet the learning needs of individual children.
• The ability to foster enthusiasm for learning and knowledge.
• Willingness to engage in professional development to improve personal understanding and skills relating to learning and teaching
• A clear understanding of children's learning within the National Curriculum
