Are you an accomplished Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages?

Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a successful secondary school in Milton Keynes to find a skilled Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to start a long term placement as soon as possible.

This Ofsted 'Good' school are looking for a Modern Foreign Languages Teacher who can teach across all Key Stages and who has excellent subject knowledge through Key Stage 3 & 4. Being able to teach to Key Stage 5 would be a bonus.

The school are looking for a committed and dedicated teacher who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout their role

The Modern Foreign Languages Team aims to equip students with the skills to understand and communicate in the language they study, whilst also giving them an appreciation of the culture and the way of life of the people of the countries where the language is spoken. Students are encouraged to be curious about how language works, to develop their communication skills and gain confidence to use language in familiar and unfamiliar settings.

Learning a foreign language also allows students the opportunity to develop their problem solving and teamwork skills, skills highly sought after by universities and employers in today's workplaces. The languages taught at the school as part of the curriculum are French, German and Spanish.

To be successful for this Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages role, you will need to:

  • Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree in Media Studies
  • Proven experience of teaching MFL to Key Stages 3 - 5
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Applicable teaching references
  • Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service
