KS4 Science Co-ordinator required at a Roman Catholic Secondary School from September 2018.

Our client school located within the Wigan LEA wish to appoint a KS4 Co-ordinator within Science ahead of the new academic year.

  • KS4 Science Co-ordinator - Full time permanent post from September 2018
  • Ofsted graded good Roman Catholic Secondary school 11-18
  • High achieving Science department and Ofsted graded 'Good' management and leadership team
  • Located on the border of Salford and Wigan
  • Main/Upper Payscale (plus £1,938 - £3,921 dependent on experience)

The Headteacher hopes to appoint a Science specialist (Biology, Chemistry and Physics specialists all considered) who can drive results within this forward thinking school. The ideal applicant will be dynamic, energetic and can consistently provide outstanding practice. Our client school is a modern secondary located on the border of Wigan and Leigh, with excellent motor way and public transport links making it easily commutable from the surrounding areas; St Helens, Warrington, Salford and Bolton . The school recently relocated to a purpose built site with teaching and learning at the forefront of the design, and the 1200 students can benefit from excellent provisions for learning. The school aims to ensure students are keen to learn and make outstanding progress in their lessons, and the incoming Science teacher will be able to demonstrate creativity in their subject and encouraging pupil participation.
