Teaching Personnel are looking for a Qualified Teacher (either NQT or FQT) for a very exciting role in the New Forest area.
The School is a specialist school providing education for boys and girls aged 9 to 18 who have complex emotional, social and behavioural needs but who also may have a range of associated complex needs such as attachment disorders and other conditions within the Autistic or Asperger's spectrum which invariably have a negative impact on their learning and progression.
The School provides a wholly integrated and highly effective provision providing 1:1 or small group education, individualised therapy, and a carefully structured social development programme. A stable, calm and caring environment is provided, which combined with high staff to pupil ratios ensures that every pupil at The School has the opportunity to develop their ability, share new experiences and reach their full potential in a secure and safe environment.
Due to our relationship with the school we are looking to recruit a General Teacher for their new expansion they have had.
Are you passionate about improving the lives of young people with special educational needs? Are you patient, professional and committed to providing them with a positive and nurturing environment where they can fulfil their potential and develop as lifelong learners?
This role requires excellent communications skills, high levels of self-motivation and the necessary drive and commitment to support our young people to achieve. In return we offer highly competitive packages, professional support and opportunities to progress in a hard working, thriving environment set in the heart of the New Forest
Are you:
- A passionate and innovative teacher who can quickly and effectively engage their students?
- A consistently 'good' or 'outstanding' teacher, with the results to prove it?
- An outward looking and highly motivated teacher who can lead in their area and share best practice?
- An enthusiastic and well-organised team player?
We welcome applications from teachers of all specialisms with ideas, enthusiasm and proven outstanding teaching ability, who can work within the diverse demands of the School whilst developing its recognised strengths and attributes.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all our employees to share in this commitment. Successful applicants will be required to undergo a DBS Enhanced Disclosure.
