Job description

Teaching Personnel are working with a specialist SEND school in Darlington (DL1) to recruit a full time Maths Teacher on a temporary basis. The role will commence ASAP, with strong potential for a permanent contract for the right candidate. The position will involve working with small classes of students with varying SEND, including MLD, SLD, SEMH and ASC. In this role, you will be working alongside a team of experienced SEND Teachers and Teaching Assistants in an SEND School with a lovely community feel. Qualifications such as Team Teach are desirable but not compulsory.

The ideal candidate will have:

-At least six months teaching in an SEND environment

-Qualified Teacher Status

- Excellent behaviour management skills

- A patient and caring attitude
