Job description

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a specialist school in the Richmond area (DL10) to recruit a support assistant to work with young people with PMLD in the classroom. The role will commence immediately on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent contract to the right candidate. You will be working closely with a small class of students across all of their curriculum lessons.

Some students may require medical assistance and personal care, therefore experience in this field is desirable however not mandatory. You will be supported by a team of experiences teachers and teaching assistants and will be working closely with professionals such as occupational therapists.

The ideal candidate will have:

-Experience working with PMLD or SLD

-Moving and Handling Qualification

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
