KS2 Teaching Assistant - Swadlincote - Full Time

Teaching Personnel work with many Primary schools across South Derbyshire providing for their supply cover needs. This fantastic position has raised to work for a wonderful based in Swadlincote. This is a full time role starting on Monday 29th April 2019 up until the end of the academic year.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Act as a support classroom assistant under the direction of the class teacher.
  • Supervise the activities of individuals or groups of children within the classroom.
  • Under the instruction/guidance of a teacher support pupils with SEN requirements.
  • Under the instruction/ guidance of a teacher support pupils with non specific learning difficulties.
  • Under the instruction/guidance of a teacher support pupils with behavioural, emotional and social development needs e.g. implementation of behaviour management policies/promotion of school policies relating to pupil behaviour.

To be considered for the role, you must:

  • have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
  • have previous experience working in a primary school
  • have passion to work with children
  • be motivated and dedicated to ensure the development of the children's learning
  • the right to work in the UK
  • enhanced DBS
