Teaching Assistant Required to work in a school in Durham

One of our client schools in the rural area of Durham are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support their Year 3-4 class on a full time basis. The ideal candidate will be available from January and be able to travel to Stanley.

The school is a single form entry, good performing school with a fantastic team of staff in place. As the school has taken on 2 new SEN pupils, they require some additional support in the classroom.

To apply for this role you must have -

  • Teaching Assistant qualification or working towards one (Level 2 or Level 3)
  • Experience in a Primary School within lower KS2
  • Worked with children who have additional needs
  • Available immediately and commitment for 1 term at least

The school is an Ofsted rated Good school and prides itself on its nurturing and child focused ethos. The staff are welcoming and hold themselves and the children to a very high standard and would like a teacher who would is able to fit with the school ethos and environment.
