KS2 Teaching Assistant required in Leeds

Role
Teaching Personnel are looking for a Level 3 Qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant for a full-time permanent position starting in the new academic year (3rd September 2018). The school is located in North Leeds, LS16 just 25 minutes away from the Leeds City Centre. Public transport route are also easily accessible to the school. You will be required to work Monday - Friday (8:00am - 4:00pm) with children across Key Stage 2.
Ideal candidate
The school are looking for an:
- Experienced Teaching Assistant with recent experience
- Teaching Assistant with an NVQ or CACHE level 3
- Teaching Assistant with experience working with pupils on a 121 basis
- Individual who is available full-time
- Individual with a previous / valid DBS
School
The school received 'Outstanding' at its last Ofsted in 2014 and are looking to maintain this in the next Ofsted. The school have a strong Senior Leadership Team and the opportunity to progress within school. The school have 210 pupils on roll across Key Stage 2 and have a vast amount of pupils who are predicted to achieve above the national expectations in the Year 6 SATs.
Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as; Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University.
These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability, Effective Adult Learning Support, Implications for Challenging Behaviour, Meeting the Emotional, Social and Mental Health Needs of Children and Young People, Differentiation, Data Handling, Assessment for Learning, Planning for Progression, Prevent Duty, Read Write Inc. and Child Protection in Education. In addition to this we work alongside many leaders of education and have our own ex-head teacher that provides candidates with bespoke, high-quality training. The CPD on offer will assist with your personal and career development, making you the most highly sought candidates in the market.
