*CPD Opportunities such as Team Teach and Autism Awareness Training*
Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a large 2 form entry Primary School (BB9) in the heart of Nelson who are hoping to use their 'Pupil Premium money' to employ a teaching assistant to work alongside pupils in Y6 and preparing them for the upcoming SATs. The Headteacher is looking for an experienced enthusiastic practitioner to work alongside a group of lower attaining pupils in the year 6 class. The role will involve delivering planned Intervention sessions in Maths & English in a morning and then general support in an afternoon.
I have spoken directly with the Headteacher who is very approachable and has strong links with other schools in Burnley and the surrounding areas. If you have experience as a general Teaching Assistant specifically working with children in KS2 we want to hear from you! Due to the reputation of the school in the area this is an excellent opportunity and this school would look excellent on your CV!
