KS2 Teaching Assistant - March

Job description

We are looking to appoint for a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant to work mornings only, five days a week at a fantastic Primary School located in March, Cambridgeshire.

The position has every opportunity of going full time but is currently mornings only working within KS2 classes across the school.

The school is an ideal environment for the educational development of Primary Pupils and has a warm, friendly atmosphere in which all members of staff are recognised for their individual contributions towards the pupils learning.

What the school require from you:

  • An approachable and professional attitude towards your work
  • NVQ Level 3
  • Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant
  • Ability to adapt well to any given situation/challenge
  • Training in Safeguarding, Prevent or any other relevant course

You will be expected to monitor and assess the progress of pupils and assist in their progression through learning. You will also need to offer general support and aid in the overall running of the class alongside the class teacher.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
