Teaching Personnel are working as a recruitment partner for a Primary school situated in Central Manchester to help with the recruitment of Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teaching Assistant to begin work on a full time basis at the start of the next academic year, September 2018.

The 1 form entry Primary school in central Manchester recently graded "good" in their Ofsted in inspection earlier this calendar year is looking to recruit an experienced KS2 TA. The school is looking for an ambitious individual to work within the year 6 classes. Their most recent report states that "Leaders know their school well and have high expectations and ambitions. They have brought about rapid improvements to the quality of teaching and pupils' outcomes." It is important that the ideal candidate shares the same ambition and drive as the staff currently in the school. The school are looking for someone who has previous experience within a year 6 class and is comfortable with working in a SATs year.

The role will entail general TA work in supporting the class teacher. You will be expected to lead intervention groups of around 4-6 people in Maths, Reading and Writing. The groups will vary from different abilities so it is that you are able to differentiate between the abilities. The school are looking for someone who has previous experience in delivering intervention in Year 6, so to be considered for this role please ensure you have the relevant experience.
