KS2 Teaching Assistant

A 'GOOD' primary school in Central Manchester (M12) is looking for a KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full time basis in January. The school are looking to meet with prospective candidates during the first week back with a view to the role starting straight after. The school are looking to recruit a KS2 TA on a permanent basis so the opportunity to work on to a school based contract may be possible for the right person. The ideal candidate will have prior experience dealing with challenging behaviour and will have the ability to think fast and de-escalate situations where necessary.

This full time teaching assistant opportunity is in an inner city primary School in the Gorton area of Manchester. The successful applicant will work along side the year 5 class teacher to encourage and motivate learners at all times. The head teacher of the school is looking for a candidate who will implement strong behaviour management techniques whilst working as a positive role model for all children.

To be considered for this role, you will:

  • Have experience working with children in KS2
  • Be comfortable and confident working with children in small groups
  • Hold a Level 3 Qualification or Equivalent
