Teaching Assistant KS2
We are looking for a teaching assistant in our Darlington area who has experience with challenging behaviour to start in September at one of our local primary schools - initially the post will be for 1 term however there is great potential to extend to Christmas. If you would like to work in a school that provides a welcoming and secure environment allowing pupils to have the opportunity to succeed and learn please read on:
Working hours 08:30AM - 3:30PM
Details about this role:
- Full time role starting October 2024
- Temporary for 1 term, could be extended dependant on funding
- Supporting a Y5 pupil on a 1:1 basis who can display challenging behaviour
- Pupil has autism and has EHCP to follow
- Competitive salary, earn up to £440 per week
- CPD opportunities offered throughout the year
- You will also be expected to assist the teacher with general classroom and behaviour management.
- Other duties will include cleaning/ tidying the classroom, preparing lesson materials, and providing teachers/ parents with feedback.

Salary:
- Competitive rates varying between £400 - £500 paid weekly

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
