KS2 Teacher - South Shields

September 2019 start date with possibility of securing permanent role.
Teaching Personnel are seeking an enthusiastic and creative KS2 Teacher to join Year 6 classroom within a two form entry school. They are currently working towards improving their delivery of lessons in the lead up to SATS. This is a popular School located on the outskirts of Sotuh Shields, 10 minutes from the town centre. The Head Teacher boasts high expectations of learning which has lead to the requirement for a vibrant individual to begin in September on a full time basis for at least two terms with potential for extension. The School are looking to appoint a Teacher that is willing to boost motivation within the 30 pupil classroom and deliver engaging lessons in order to raise the current standards. The School were recently marked 'Good' by Ofsted and pride themselves in their aim to provide the highest quality of education in a stimulating environment.
Details of role:
- Teaching a Year 6 Class of 30 pupils who have been making great progress in recent terms
- Full time role beginning on the September 3rd 2019
- Must undertake the planning, teaching and assessment of all subjects
- Be responsible for the education and welfare of Year 6 pupils
- School are flexible with candidates experience and are welcoming of NQTs
- Located close to local transportation links (Bus/Metro) the School is easily accessible and also offers free car parking.
The role requires:
- UK recognised QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Knowledge in regard to current Key Stage 2 assessments
- A passion to deliver the highest quality of education through a range of enrichment activities and creative teaching
- Initiative and an enthusiastic nature are essential as the school pride themselves in their innovative and supportive team of Teaching staff
- Willingness to make a difference to assist the school in meeting requirements and raising standards
- Valid DBS (A Child Workforce that is accessible through the Update Service)
- Eligible to work in the UK (Right to work in the UK documentation)
