KS2 Teacher -SEN - DL8

Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working in behalf of an OFSTED graded "Good" SEN school located in the DL8 area to recruit a KS2 teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a mixed KS2 class, on a full time basis, to commence after Christmas until at least Easter 2019, possibly until the end of the academic year. There is a possibility that the position may be made permanent for the successful candidate. Ideally the successful applicant will have experience working within an educational setting supporting students with Autism, MLD and SLD.

You will have a desire for working with young people and be looking to make a real difference. You must be a strong role model, motivated and dedicated to providing outstanding teaching practise.

  • UK recognised qualified teacher status.
  • Experience of working with children with SEN (MLD, PMLD, SLD) or a willingness to learn
  • Patient and nurturing mannerism with excellent behaviour management skills
  • A friendly, creative approach to teaching
  • Good behaviour management skills
  • An ability to plan and deliver effective lessons.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
