Teaching Personnel have an exclusive opportunity for a KS2 Teacher. The school is a maintained Special School for Pupils who are High Functioning and have a Diagnosis of ASC. It caters for pupils aged between 10 and 14 in its first year, who are of average or above average cognitive ability, with a diagnosis of high functioning autism often with language and communication difficulties.
This role will involve working with children across Key Stage 2, with the ability to be able to deal with challenging behaviour and children with SEMH. The position will involve planning and marking responsibilities and liaising with parents on students progress.
To be considered for this role, you must;
- Have planning and marking experience
- Be willing to partake in CPD courses (if required)
- Provide support to students for progression
- Have excellent behaviour management skills
- Be passionate and innovative in your learning approach
- Be calm, caring and conscientious

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
