Job description

Teaching Personnel is currently working alongside an exceptional independent Primary School in Richmond Upon Thames, East Sheen, who require a KS2 Teacher for a long-term placement with their Year 3 class.

The all-boys school is situated between Richmond Park and Chiswick, making it very accessible from Mortlake Station and North Sheen Station.

The successful candidate is required to nurture and inspire their boys to reach their full potential. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of hard working and creative staff, offering continuous support from their dedicated and experienced KS2 leadership team.

You must conduct lessons according to the policy and syllabus of the school, mark and monitor children's work regularly and set targets for progress and work closely with the classroom assistants to ensure that teaching is effective, dynamic and inspirational.

The school is looking for a Teacher who is committed to raising the academic attainment of all pupils, have a positive work attitude and can communicate well with both pupils and colleagues.

Teaching Personnel is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of all children. In order to work through Teaching Personnel, you must:

  • Have a current DBS on the Update Service
  • Have UK QTS or equivalent
  • Be able to provide 2 references cover 6 years

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
