KS2 Teacher

Teaching Personnel, the UK’s largest education staffing agency, are working on behalf of the Head Teacher and Governors of a reputable primary school in Blackburn to recruit an outstanding classroom practitioner to join their Key Stage 2 team from September 2020*.

The year group is yet to be confirmed.

The role is to work within a smaller than average primary school, serving a mixed catchment area. Overall, the school is graded ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted. Behaviour is outstanding and pupils are bursting with enthusiasm.

This is a fantastic opportunity for both NQTs and fully-qualified teachers with recent experience of teaching in KS2.

This vacancy is permanent; however the Head Teacher would like to recruit via Teaching Personnel, with the view for the postholder to transition onto a school contract in Spring 2021 following a successful Autumn term in school.

The successful candidate will be joining a well-established team of educational professionals who all share the school’s child-centred approach to learning. With pupils being out of their usual school environment for an extended period of time, high expectations and consistent routine are crucial. The Head Teacher is aware that numerous intervention systems will need to be put into place, and this will be assessed and implemented across the whole school.

Pay rates: GBP90+ per day (dependent upon experience)

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) 

Recent KS2 teaching experience 

Confident using IT to aid learning

Experience of working within a faith school and upholding the ethos of the school
