KS2 Teacher- East London

Permanent Visits: 09th May and 15th May 2pm (appointment only)

Closing Date: 20th May 2019 Closing Time 12pm

Shortlisting: 25th May 2019

Interview: Week commencing 27th May 2019

A comment from the Head teacher: "We are in an exciting period of growth as we continue our expansion to two forms of entry. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an individual with the enthusiasm and commitment to teaching and learning of our pupils. I and the Governors at our RC Primary School are seeking to appoint a Main Scale teacher with a support of a teaching assistant to work within KS2 with a class of 27 students".

We are looking for someone who is an outstanding classroom teacher and exemplary practitioner who:

  • Has experience of teaching across KS1 & KS2- Desirable
  • Have high expectations and standards.
  • Makes effective use of assessment for learning to support sustained and effective progress for all pupils
  • Is able to work collaboratively and flexibly in a team situation
  • Can demonstrate the drive and skills to raise standards of pupil's attainment and achievement
  • Has excellent classroom and personal skills
  • Can continue to build and maintain effective relationships with the school and the community
  • Is confident and enthusiastic about teaching- dedicated to the high expectations, successful outcomes and social well-being of every child
  • Is welcoming and willing to encourage a strong partnership with parents and the community
  • Is positive and has an inclusive attitude
  • Is happy to play a full part in the life of the school
