Job description

A friendly and inviting 1 form entry school, in Camden, is currently recruiting for a Teacher for their Year 5 Class of 28 students - to start in January 2019.

The school is an Ofsted graded 'Good' school and they are looking for a member of staff who will continue to hold, and potentially extend this standard of teaching.

The senior leadership team are determined and driven to deliver a well-rounded and exciting curriculum to their pupils. The school are committed to providing a caring Christian environment, within which they aim to develop their pupil's potential intellectually, physically and emotionally. The staff and pupils also celebrate and enjoy the cultural diversity of their school and community.

The pupils and staff benefit from a number of different extra-curricular activities such as: cooking, dance, debate, music masters and even the X-Factor! This allows members of the school to immerse themselves in the arts and find interests outside of the usual curriculum. The school also benefit from being close to Queen's Park Station which allows them to organise varied and exciting trips across London. Recently the school have enjoyed trips to: ZSL Zoo, Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, as well as many of the museums which London has to offer.

Shortlisting criteria for this role are:

  • A valid QTS
  • Ability to plan and prepare effectively
  • At least 2 years of Class Teaching experience
  • Experience working within KS2
  • A Positive and optimistic approach to teaching
